In and era of mass tourism, programmed diversion, fast food and virtual fun, here at the Vintage we appreciate the need for speed. However, we have become a "destination pub" for many people who use our bar & restaurant to enjoy a leisurely meal or just a drink. We pride ourselves in serving high quality food fast. Almost everything on the menu is homemade and alot of dishes are made from scratch. Some dishes take a little more time to prepare than others so, if you are in a hurry (or just very hungry!) then please ask a member of staff who will gladly advise you on approximate waiting times for any particular dish.

AT THE STOVE: Dave Atkins leads our team of chefs. Dave is in his 11th year at the Vintage and he brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous exploits, having worked in a variety of hotels and restaurants, not to mention his time serving with the R.A.F in Germany and the Falklands where he worked in the "Officer's Mess".
ON THE FLOOR: Shaun Fothergill heads a friendly and enthusiastic team and has a good blend of "young and keen" and "mature and experienced" staff who are eager to help. Shaun has been on board since 1991 and previously work F.O.H and B.O.H for Copthorne Hotels, the Hilton(Gatwick Airport), whitbread and T.G.I Fridays (Covent Garden).
